What started as a simple, little idea quickly turned into a big, popular idea. The original concept was to send two cameras to food bloggers around the country, but so many people signed up, that six cameras were required to get started. As Food Chains started forming, they started grouping into Chain-doms.

Food Chains 1, 2, 3, 4

These are the Food Chains that link food stories together from towns and cities across the country. These chains are in constant motion. Each Food Chainer gets about a week to capture their food story, post it and send the camera to the next person in the chain. Join The Food Chain.

City-Specific Food Chains

These are the Food Chains that stay and circulate in foodie cities. They are highly dependent upon passionate foodies who are curious, connected and craving good food content where they live. In most cases, a Food Chain Mayor is selected (or volunteers) who oversees the camera’s progress, and keeps it moving.
